Covered deck looking south towards town

Most of the roof  trusses on

Almost ready for sheathing

Sheathing the roof

Trying to get the lid on and the roof dried up before the snow flies.  The amount of rain we've had lately has been bad enough.

Trusses being rolled into place

Not sure if it is readily apparent, but this entire load shifted 4 feet forward towards the cab of the semi as a lady pulled out in front of him.  Not sure how that happened when he had pilot cars in front of and behind him.

This began a frustrating experience with Noble Truss.  The load was not fastened securely and when it shifted it launched our load of blocks everywhere.  not to mention broke every truss band.  This means the driver had to pry the trusses apart and rig them instead of being able to pick the entire bundle.  It seemed to put him in a bad mood and it took all day long to unload our trusses.  That alone was a full day wasted with no work done to the house to finish the roof.

At this point we are racing the weather.  I'd really like to get it sealed up and dry.

My friend Steve, up on the wall ready to receive trusses.

Stacking the truss members onto the top of the walls.

More trusses being unloaded.

We haven't updated the page for a while.  Things have been busy lately but we have some new photo's to update.

This is a view of the cutting station looking through the E-space into the garage.

This view is from the dining room looking through the kitchen into the great room.

Kitchen, looking south towards the office.

Once all of the interior and exterior framing was done, we were ready for TRUSSES!

Looking at the front of the house.  It's starting to look like house with walls now.

Steve and Tristan working on our master bedroom.

Looking through my closet into the en suite.

Steve on the phone ordering more 2x4's so he can finish framing the interior walls.

Carl let me play with his Stihl backpack blower.  I was impressed it really has some power!
